The new BKDA3 Dual-Lens Camera Monitor with People Detection from our EXPERT series was developed to meet the highest demands of daily vehicle use. It combines advanced safety technology with maximum reliability—ideal for box trucks, vans, RVs, trailers, commercial vehicles, emergency vehicles, and specialty vehicles.
With the optional pedestrian and vehicle detection feature , the system reliably alerts the driver to hazards directly behind the vehicle. The two camera modules provide a 140° + 90° field of view and provide an optimized rear view for precise maneuvering and maximum visibility. The system can be used as a digital rearview mirror.
Installation is quick and easy. The 7-inch HD monitor offers a choice between a split-screen or full-screen view of the camera image, a recording function, backlit buttons , and a flexible power supply via cigarette lighter or vehicle power supply.
The camera unit is built for tough use: suitable for car washes, with lotus coating, automatic heating and robust construction for year-round operation. Of course, the system has E-approval and is therefore exempt from approval and registration.
