How much does it cost to install a reversing camera?
A wireless reversing camera costs on average between 250 and 500 euros. A wired model costs between 180 and 1000 euros, depending on the quality.
How long does it take to install a reversing camera?
Installing a wireless or solar camera usually takes less than 10 minutes. Wired reversing cameras and reversing systems can take several hours.
Which reversing camera is the best?
The best reversing camera is subjective and depends on individual needs and preferences. Many test-winning models such as the Bergmann & Koch BKRT7 or the Bergmann & Koch BMR8S have performed very well. For a good price-performance ratio, the Bergmann & Koch BK2T7 is often recommended
For cars, it is best to mount the camera close to the license plate holder. For motorhomes, trucks and larger vehicles, a height of 2-3 meters is optimal.
A reversing camera may only be switched on while driving if it is used to assist when reversing or during certain driving maneuvers, such as maneuvering. Permanent use as a replacement for the rear-view mirror is not permitted.
